Hello, fellow villagers. I am the village chief. On New Year's Day, I decided on a whim to try delivering food, and then I actually delivered food for half a day. Today, I’d like to share with you some of the experiences of my food delivery process, but I am only sharing this with you as a part-time food delivery man. 1. Part-time delivery is a job with a very low thresholdDownload the APP to register, read some necessary tutorials, and you can take orders. The main reason is that if you don't finish reading and test it, you won't be able to take orders. Moreover, most platforms have a novice welfare period, which means you don't have to pay deposits, clothing and other rigid requirements in the short term. So if you want to experience food delivery, it is extremely simple. 2. Delivery is indeed a profitable jobAs long as you are willing to work hard, even if you only deliver one order at a time, it is no problem to earn 100 or 200 yuan a day. It is nothing more than extending the time of delivering orders, just like others do when driving a ride-hailing car. 3. Delivery is hard workIt tests not only physical strength, but also the quality of all aspects of the body. Especially when it is windy, rainy, foggy, or other bad weather, for example, on December 31, the village chief had a heavy fog. After running in the morning, he caught a cold and went home to lie down for two days. 4. Going outside is also an intellectual activityAnyone who is willing to think and summarize his experience in any industry will earn more money than others, and the same is true for food delivery. For example, as a newbie, the village chief can deliver two orders at most at a time if he is lucky. I think the time is very tight. But I saw a guy on the road with an incubator in front and behind, both filled with takeout. Especially some delivery guys, who have more than a dozen items on a small cart. You need to judge whether to grab an order in a very short time, and after grabbing it, how to plan the route for picking up and delivering the food. Another small detail is how to put the food after picking it up. Avoid crushing it and ensure that it can be found and taken out quickly. Newbies are not clear about the geographical location of merchants and users at the beginning, so it is easy to waste time. For example, I spent a long time looking for the house number in the community for several orders. 5. Delivery is a dangerous job
6. Delivery is a job controlled by the systemWhether you can receive orders, what orders you receive, how long it takes to deliver, and how much reward you get are all determined by the system. The system will assign you some orders that are not convenient for you, some orders with small amounts, and restrict newcomers from receiving high-quality orders such as purchasing on behalf of others and orders in the same city. The system will determine whether you can receive orders in the future based on the number of orders assigned to you and your response. 7. Delivery is a free jobI can understand why some highly educated people and many young people choose to deliver food. Because outside the system, it is free to some extent. At any time, you can choose to go online or offline, without restrictions on duration, number of orders, or amount. You can set up your own one, two, or three or more orders at a time. As long as the delivery is no problem, you don't need to look at anyone's face. In addition, if you work part-time as a food deliveryman, you can withdraw the money to your account the next day, how cool. 8. A lot of people really order takeout24 hours a day, as long as you are not in a remote suburb, there will always be orders. 9. Insufficient transport capacityThere are too many orders before the holiday, and we can’t finish them all, so the transportation capacity is obviously insufficient. 10. There are all kinds of weird ordersThere is a fruit store downstairs from my house, but I ordered takeout. The order was 12.9 yuan, and the delivery fee was 6.9 yuan. It took me less than 3 minutes from picking up the food to delivery. There are also people who order home-cooked meals from 20 kilometers away, and the one-way delivery fee is 60 yuan. There are also people who clearly have Wanda and other supermarkets near their homes, but they choose to place orders at a small supermarket 5 kilometers away, perhaps because of various benefits. 11. Don’t slack offAlthough part-time delivery work is free, you cannot slack off because you only earn money from each order you deliver. 12. WelfareNewbies can get first-order benefits after registering, usually between 50-100 yuan, which can be withdrawn to Alipay within two or three days. 13. Hard workAlthough there is no high or low in job classification, just from my personal advice, everyone can still make money by using their brain and should try to rely on their brain as much as possible, because delivering food is really too hard work. 14. One chain running ordersSome order-delivery apps really make money from all kinds of things for the salesmen, including buying clothes, equipment, loans, car rentals, etc., it’s a whole chain. 15. The first hurdle in delivering takeaway is actually the psychological thresholdEven if I just want to test the experience. After downloading the app and completing the registration, I still have questions about whether to accept the order, how to pick it up, how to talk to the store, how to deliver the goods, and what to do when encountering merchants, security guards, customers, passers-by, and acquaintances. I was excited and shy at the same time. In fact, no one really cared whether you were a delivery man or not, so everyone generally accepted this profession to some extent. Although I have seen some cases of people harming each other, such as security guards not letting deliverymen in, etc., from my brief experience of running orders, it was still smooth. I also hope that everyone will respect each other, do their jobs well, and reduce people harming each other and occupational discrimination. Finally, I would like to remind you again that you should not go out to deliver food if you have nothing to do. The village chief went out for a run in the heavy fog, and then he caught a cold and stayed at home for two days. He was very tired.
