Amazon US announced that brand sellers can now use the Search Query Performance Dashboard to view search query performance data for specific ASINs in the brand catalog. The Search Query Performance Dashboard answers the question, “Which queries are driving shoppers to my products?” and includes brand- and ASIN-level performance data for each query. With the launch of the new ASIN view, sellers can measure the search performance of specific products by metrics (such as clicks or conversion rate) over a selected time frame. It is worth mentioning that recently, Amazon US released two announcements about meltable products. One of the announcements stated that due to the increase in customer complaints related to melting products, Amazon decided to implement a new meltable product transportation policy for meltable seller-delivered products from September 21, 2022. The Meltable Products Shipping Policy is designed to protect the customer experience by ensuring that heat-sensitive products (including but not limited to chocolate, gummies, and select jelly and wax-based products) are received in satisfactory condition. After the policy goes into effect, Amazon may remove a seller’s offer and suspend or deactivate their Amazon selling account (and any related accounts) if they receive multiple complaints of melted products. In another announcement, to ensure that products maintain quality standards and that customers have a consistent shopping experience during the summer months, Amazon's fulfillment centers announced that they will not accept recyclable inventory from April 15 to October 15. Products in Amazon fulfillment centers must meet quality standards during the summer (75 to 155 degrees Fahrenheit). This temperature range is set to protect product integrity during storage and transportation. FBA will only accept meltable products between October 16 and April 14. Meltable inventory stored or arriving at Amazon fulfillment centers between April 15 and October 15 will be marked as undeliverable and disposed of for a fee. |
