Will the shipping fee increase if I split my order on Shopee? How do I calculate the shipping fee?

Shopee is a newly emerging cross-border e-commerce platform. Its customers are all from abroad. When opening a store on Shopee, logistics is the most important aspect. Some orders will be split. So will the shipping fee increase if Shopee splits the orders?

Will the shipping fee increase if Shopee splits orders?

The shipping fee will increase if Shopee splits orders. Recently, the Shopee platform has added a splitting function. You can select the order and then split the order.

Please note that orders can be split for shipment, but cannot be combined for shipment. Why? This is because when two or more orders are combined for shipment, there will be no information for one or more logistics. The platform will automatically determine that the merchant has not shipped the goods, which will increase the store's non-shipping rate, damage the store's reputation, and affect the store's evaluation of excellent merchants.

How to calculate shipping cost?

1.Malaysia site: the actual weight and volume weight take the larger value. Volume weight is: length*width/height (CM)/6000. Package size requirements: the sum of length, width and height <6 M, the longest side <3.5 M, single item weight limit: 50KG.

2. Singapore site: the actual weight and volume weight take the larger value. Volume weight is: length*width*height (CM)/6250. Package size requirements: the sum of length, width and height <6 M, the longest side <3.5 M, single item weight limit: 50KG. Note: Singapore has a 7% tax, which is paid directly by the carrier!

The final delivery fee is paid by the seller to Huixiang and returned to the seller after the order is completed. This part is actually paid by the buyer and enjoys the platform subsidy. The buyer's subsidy amount is: if the delivery fee is more than 30 SGD, the platform will subsidize 2 SGD; if it is more than 50 SGD, the platform will subsidize 6 SGD.

3. Thailand site: the larger value of actual weight and volumetric weight is taken. Volumetric weight is: length*width*height (CM)/2500. Package size requirements: the sum of length, width and height <2.8M, the longest side <1M, and the weight limit of a single item: 50KG. The minimum consumption for the first leg is 0.01CMB. The last leg delivery is charged based on the actual weight of the goods, with 1KG as a billing unit. If it is less than 1KG, it will be calculated as 1KG (for example, 4.3KG will be calculated as 5KG).

Although the cost of Shopee's delivery is relatively high, sellers can save on this part of the shipping costs and reduce their logistics costs through some means, such as splitting orders for logistics and delivery. The billing methods of different sites are also different.
