Shopify supports order delivery product level adjustment

Shopify announced that merchants can now adjust the attributes of specific products, such as shipping location, delivery location, retention status, etc., and make local adjustments without affecting other products in the order, giving them more flexibility in controlling the order management process.

In addition, whether merchants want to ship part of the order and hold the items to be restocked, or change the delivery location of specific items, merchants can customize the shipping process to meet their business needs.

If a merchant needs to change the shipping location (for example, due to inventory availability, associated shipping costs, or the need for expedited shipping), they can change the location of any unfulfilled orders so that the items in the order are fulfilled from the new shipping location.

The specific steps to quickly change the shipping location are as follows: First, in the Shopify backend, go to Orders and select the order whose location you want to change. Then click Change Location and select the new shipping location from the Location drop-down menu. Finally, in the Item section, click the up or down arrow to adjust the quantity, select the item whose shipping location you want to change, and then click Save.

It is worth mentioning that Shopify announced that its Markets Pro function has been upgraded and now provides a mixed checkout mode for physical and digital products. Markets Pro can manage mixed checkout orders for physical and digital products, but if the merchant's order only contains digital products and is a registered merchant, such an order does not meet the requirements of Markets Pro.

However, Markets Pro does not currently support ordering digital products through draft orders. If merchants want to create a draft order that includes physical goods and digital products, they need to send an invoice at checkout to collect payment. If merchants sell digital download products or services, they need to disable the shipping option for the product. Merchants can also disable the required shipping attribute for multiple products or multiple attributes at once by using the bulk editor.
