Can I post pictures when reviewing on eBay? What are the rules for uploading pictures?

Can I post pictures for eBay reviews?

You can’t post pictures.

What are the rules for uploading pictures?

When you sell on eBay, you upload at least one picture in your listing, but we strongly recommend that you upload more high-quality, high-resolution pictures to increase your chances of a successful sale. Below are our image policies, please make sure your listings comply with these guidelines. If you violate the image policy, your listing may be removed from the shelves, or eBay may take other measures to punish you, such as not returning the transaction fee or limiting the amount of sales you can make.

Image Policy:

1) The image pixels should be between 500-1600 and the image size should not exceed 7MB;

2) Used/refurbished/damaged products may not use new product images;

3) Store logos/advertising/promotional texts are not allowed;

4) No borders, shading, illustrations or icons;

5) Please take pictures by yourself and do not steal them.

Regarding pictures, eBay also gives sellers some tips:

1) Try to use a simple, clean, solid-color background to highlight your product;

2) Avoid overexposure of the image due to flash when shooting;

3) To avoid blurry and shaking pictures, it is recommended to use a tripod for shooting;

4) Try to use images with higher resolution;

5) Try to place the product in the middle of the picture so that it takes up 80%-90% of the entire picture;

6) Take photos of product details from multiple angles. If there are any defects on the surface of the product, they must also be shown in the photos;

7) The size of the product can be displayed by comparison;

8) Try to restore the original color of the product when shooting;

9) Can take close-up photos of products;

10) Be careful when adding props to the photo, so as not to distract the buyer from the photo and mislead them into thinking that the props are included;

11) Optimize mobile phone images;

12) Images with more than 800 pixels can be zoomed in.

For example, on Taobao platforms, Taobao users can post pictures if they want to comment, which is called buyer show. Therefore, many consumers want to know whether cross-border e-commerce platforms such as eBay can also post pictures. The above content has introduced it to you.
