Notice of adjustment of free shipping threshold of Shopee Poland site

Shopee recently released a notice on adjusting the free shipping threshold for the Polish site. The notice stated that in order to provide better service quality, Shopee will adjust the free shipping policy for old users of the Polish site, and the first purchase subsidy for new users will remain unchanged. The specific details are as follows:

For old users, the adjustment of the free shipping threshold will take effect on November 23, 2022: the free shipping threshold for Economy Delivery is adjusted to 29 PLN Polish zloty; the free shipping threshold for Standard Delivery is adjusted to 79 PLN Polish zloty.

Please note that buyers will need to pay for shipping if the order amount does not reach the free shipping threshold.

It is worth mentioning that Shopee recently released an announcement on “Update of transaction fees for credit card installment orders on the Malaysian site”.

The announcement shows that the Shopee Malaysia site will update the transaction fee rate for credit card installment payment services on November 23, 2022; for each order using installment payment, the transaction bank will charge a portion of the transaction fee.

At the same time, the transaction fee rate paid by the seller will change accordingly depending on the installment payment period selected by the buyer when placing an order. The specific rates are as follows:

The above rates already include 6% sales and service tax. Please note that different transaction fees only apply to orders paid by credit card installments; if the order is not paid by credit card installments, a basic transaction fee of 2% will be charged.

This service is enabled by default for all sellers in Malaysia, but the option of this service will only be displayed when the buyer's settlement interface is ≥ 500RM. If the seller needs to withdraw from the credit card installment payment service, please fill in the questionnaire provided by Shopee before November 18, 2022 to confirm the withdrawal.

In addition, for credit card installment orders placed before November 23, 2022, sellers will still need to pay a transaction fee of 2.12%. If buyers choose different banks to pay by credit card installment, the same transaction fee will apply.

When the buyer successfully returns the product, the seller will not be charged any fees, only the transaction fee for the completed order. If the seller needs to withdraw or join later, they can contact the account manager.
