How to set up Amazon coupons? How to charge?

In fact, no matter whether it is domestic or foreign customers, they cannot escape the temptation of preferential promotions, because people generally covet bargains, which is the most common phenomenon. Therefore, Amazon stores often set up coupons to attract customers. Let's take a look at the steps to set them up.

1. How to set it up?

Step 1: Log in to Amazon Seller Central, then find "Advertisement" and click "Coupon";

Step 2: After entering the coupon page, click "Create your first coupon" to successfully create the coupon;

Step 3: Then add the products for which you want to set the coupon. You can search for ASIN or SKU to add. A coupon can add up to 50 ASINs at a time.

After searching for the product, click "Add to coupon" on the right, and then you will enter the setting area; after the settings are completed, click "Next.

Step 4: Set the coupon discount. Note that the coupon discount percentage requirement is 5%-80%, and you also need to check the number of times the coupon can be used. Then click Next.

It is recommended that for products with low average order value, coupon settings should be mainly based on percentage discounts; for products with high average order value, discounts can be set directly based on amount.

Step 5: Set the name, group and validity period of the coupon.

Step 6: After completing the above steps, you can preview the coupon. After confirming that there is no problem, click Submit and wait for the coupon to take effect.

Amazon coupon setting notes:

1. Different sites have different requirements for setting up coupons. The settings for Prime Day coupons are also different from those for regular coupons.

2. The Amazon coupon name cannot contain sensitive words such as discounts, otherwise it will be cancelled;

3. Amazon coupon discounts will be used in conjunction with other promotions that are taking place at the same time;

4. After the budget of the coupon is used up, the coupon will be automatically offline;

II. Charging Rules

The cost of Amazon coupons can be divided into two parts:

1. Discount amount: Sellers can calculate it according to (original price - discounted price) x number of coupons

2. Handling Fee: Amazon will charge a certain handling fee for any successful redemption of coupons, for example, $0.6 for North American and European sites, and 60 yen for Japanese sites.

Each time a coupon is successfully used, the discount amount and handling fee will be deducted from the budget until the budget is zero; the minimum budget for North America and Europe is $100/day, and for Japan it is 10,000 yen/day. The method of setting up Amazon store coupons is still very simple, but merchants are better off making a budget for profit margins and costs, and not blindly setting up coupons, because too much discount will not only fail to make a profit, but may also cause losses.
