New changes to Shopee's delivery policy for sellers

To encourage sellers to have better delivery performance and be more competitive in the market, Shopee will update the seller delivery policy starting from January 15, 2024 (GMT+8). The first penalty point after the policy update will be generated on January 22, 2024 (GMT+8). Major changes Seller Lead Time (DTS) Update Changes to the Unfulfilled Order Rate and Late Shipment Rate Policy 1. Update on seller’s lead time (DTS) Starting from January 15, 2024, Beijing time, the preparation time for sellers of spot goods at all sites will be changed to 2 working days, and the preparation time for sellers of pre-sale goods will remain unchanged at 5-10 working days. 2. Changes to the NFR and Late Shipment Rate (LSR) policies 1. Changes to the number of days for uncompleted orders and delayed orders The calculation logic for late shipments and automatic order cancellation (click to ship) for all markets has been changed to 2 working days The calculation logic for late shipment and automatic cancellation of orders (click to ship) in the Latin American market is reduced by 1 natural day The calculation logic of automatic cancellation of orders (warehouse scanning) in all markets adds 1 natural day 2. Changes to the penalty standards for late shipment rate (LSR) Starting from January 15, 2024 (Beijing time), the late shipment rate (LSR) standard for all markets will be changed from 10% to 20%. That is, the store will only generate late shipment rate penalty points when the proportion of late shipment orders in the week reaches 20% or more.
