Recently, many Amazon sellers have received account verification emails from Amazon, some of which are about bank account information verification, and some are about re-verification of account information. So how do you verify your Amazon bank account? Amazon introduced the steps required to complete the verification in the email, including logging into the Seller Center, selecting account information, and entering the payment information section. After consulting Amazon customer service, the customer service told me that I could verify my bank information over the phone. In addition, some sellers were advised to click "Replace payment" and update their bank information after consulting customer service. Some sellers received notifications about bank account information verification and also received notifications about Amazon account re-verification. 1. Seller’s business information; 2. Information about the identity of the seller; 3. Government-issued photo ID; 4. Bank account or credit card statement; 5. Business license (if applicable). This type of verification requires sellers to complete it within 60 days and involves multiple contents such as business information, identity information, government-issued photo ID, etc. This has caused some sellers to confuse the two types of verification and feel confused. Among the accounts that triggered re-verification, some were early accounts from four or five years ago. Some sellers analyzed that this might be related to the fact that some accounts had not made orders for a long time after registration, but most accounts were still in normal use. Some sellers have cancelled their accounts because the company they used to register them has been deregistered, making re-verification difficult. When submitting verification information, sellers have questions about the requirement for "bank account or credit card statement." They are not sure whether Amazon is referring to the linked bank card bill for receiving payments or the credit card bill for paying payments, what the specific requirements are for the submitted statements, and whether the address needs to be consistent. Some sellers have been informed of specific requirements for bills after asking Amazon customer service, including bank name, logo, account number, and account holder name. In addition, the statement must have been issued within the past 180 days, consistent with the account number provided during registration, and the account holder name must match the primary account holder name selected during registration. It is common for Amazon to verify and review seller accounts, such as store appeals to unblock various brand associations, manipulated reviews, infringement and counterfeiting, ODR performance, and policy violations. For example, there is only one appeal opportunity for qualification review, and it will be embarrassing if you fail! In this case, sellers need to pay close attention to Amazon's emails, provide relevant information in a timely manner as required, and seek assistance from professional service providers. In summary, Amazon will inform you via email that you need to verify your bank account information. The email will describe the steps required to complete the verification. |
