Where is the Facebook store? Introduction to the steps to open a store

In May 2020, Facebook launched the mall function, which means that Facebook has also begun to enter the e-commerce industry. Many small and medium-sized enterprises have settled in. Some businesses asked, where is the Facebook mall?

Step 1: Go to Facebook page and open the Shop page

First, navigate to your Facebook Business page and log in to gain administrative privileges. By default, your Shop page will appear in Facebook Business after you log in to the admin interface. Click the Shop tab on the left.

If you can't find the tab, it's probably because the correct template is not activated: Settings > Templates and Tabs. Find Current Template and click the Edit button. You can then apply the Shopping template. There are some other places that have a Shop tab, but the Shopping template is more suitable for most stores.

Step 2: Set up your store details

Select the Shop tab and the first window will pop up, explaining the next series of setup steps. Please read and click the Get Started button.

A second window will pop up asking for store details, enter the store type and address, select the Next button, and then enter your business location and tax registration number. You can also skip this step, but sometimes you must enter the national tax registration number.

In order to pay later, you must specify the currency type and enter your email address. Most of the time, Facebook will detect your location and lock in the currency type you use. Finally, click the Finish button.

Step 3: Set up payment

Find the corresponding module and set up payment to activate your store. Click the Set Up Payment button.

The first window pops up asking for your tax details. Note that once the information is completed it cannot be edited. Therefore, please make sure your store name, employer identification number, and legal name information are correct. Click the Save button.

The last step is to link your bank card. (Remember that some countries don't have Facebook Payments, so this step may be slightly different). Enter your bank routing and account number and account name. Select the Save button.

To sum up, to access Facebook’s shopping mall, you need to navigate to the Facebook Business page first. After obtaining management permissions, you can log in to the management interface to see the shop page.
