Hunan's first cross-border e-commerce officially launched

Hunan's first cross-border e-commerce new retail complex, You'A Cross-border Hui, recently started trial operation with the participation of many international brands. Hunan consumers can purchase "authentic" products under the full supervision of customs at a price nearly 30% lower than the domestic market.

You'a Cross-border Mall has a total area of ​​105,000 square meters. It is located in the core area of ​​Changsha Free Trade Zone, on the east side of the main checkpoint of Huanghua Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and close to Changsha Huanghua International Airport. It integrates aviation experience, imported supermarkets, trade exhibitions, light luxury department stores, cross-border e-commerce, specialty restaurants, and foreign-related offices. It is the first distribution center for world goods entering Hunan.

After the trial operation started, several brand stores including You'A Overseas Shopping Pop-up Store, German Zöllerberg Home Furnishing, World Diamond Search, ARUARU, Nichima Express TOMORROW International, Babaili, Niannian Youyu, Jushiqu, Ethiopian Star Coffee, and Linkong Coffee have officially debuted.

The first batch of 10 stores covers tens of thousands of imported best-selling products from dozens of countries on five continents, and are also equipped with check-in services in Lexiang No. 7 VIP Lounge, parent-child entertainment in Changsha Aviation Experience Center and other service formats.

During the trial operation of You'A Cross-border Club, some merchants adopted the new retail model of cross-border e-commerce, that is, the "offline display and purchase, on-site ordering, and real-time delivery within the area" business model in compliance with the regulatory standards of the General Administration of Customs.

Specifically, e-commerce companies will apply for bonded display of online purchased bonded imported goods from the bonded warehouse of Huanghua Comprehensive Bonded Zone through a single window, and display them in the new retail stores of the Import and Export Commodity Exhibition Center. Consumers will go to the stores to purchase goods, and after their identity information is verified and they complete the order and payment online, the four documents of "customer order, payment process, logistics information and declaration list" will be immediately pushed to the customs through the Changsha Electronic Port for declaration. After customs clearance, the supervision and shopping experience of "offline display and selection, on-site ordering, and real-time delivery within the zone" will be realized.

According to the relevant person in charge of You'A Cross-border Club, the business hours during the trial operation period are from 10:00 to 18:00. A cross-border e-commerce new retail pick-up point is set up on the first floor of Cross-border Club. After the purchase of goods, they can be delivered in real time within the area by unmanned vehicles within 3-5 minutes. Consumers can scan the code to get the goods in as fast as 15 minutes.

Relevant person in charge of Changsha Free Trade Zone said that Changsha Free Trade Zone plans to focus on mainstream cross-border consumer categories through innovative cross-border e-commerce new retail methods, promote "Hunan products going abroad" and "thousands of merchants entering Hunan", and build the largest cross-border e-commerce new retail experience center in central China.

It is reported that You'A Cross-border Club will officially start operation during the New Year's Day next year. It will integrate international beauty, light luxury, health products, maternal and child products, seafood, household products, and overseas food commercial resources to jointly create a high-end consumption center in the free trade zone featuring cross-border e-commerce new retail.
