Taiwan Shopee Hi-Life shipping channel buyer side freight notice

Shopee recently released the latest notice on the adjustment of freight rates for buyers of Taiwan Shopee's Hi-Life shipping channel. The first big promotion day in October has started on October 8. Buyers of Taiwan Shopee who use the Hi-Life (sea shipping) channel will enjoy free shipping on the October big promotion day.

The specific rules are as follows: On all promotion days in October, buyers using this channel will pay 0 TWD for shipping, while buyers using this channel on non-promotion days will pay 10 TWD for shipping. (Note: TWD refers to New Taiwan Dollar)

Taiwan Shopee's general goods using Hi-Life shipping channels are free during the promotion period, and the buyer pays 10TWD during non-promotion periods; the seller pays the price of the heavy (≤500g) freight during the promotion period and 35TWD during non-promotion periods. Other fees remain unchanged.

In addition, HKCB sellers and stores participating in the Light rate table (light logistics) cannot use Hi-Life Ocean Shipping for the time being, but all other sellers can use it.

It is worth mentioning that Shopee recently announced the official launch of the 10.10 Super Brand Festival. Shopee has joined hands with a large number of brands in Shopee Mall to provide consumers with goods and services, further helping domestic brands seize opportunities to go global.

It is understood that Shopee built an exclusive traffic entrance through the brand mall Shopee Mall in 2017, and launched the 10.10 Super Brand Festival in 2018 to create more opportunities for brands to directly reach consumers. In 2021, the number of users who shopped at least once a month on Shopee Mall increased to 8 times that of the pre-epidemic period.

Shopee has held the 10.10 Super Brand Festival for five consecutive years. Many cross-border brands have also made preparations in advance this year and will leverage the traffic advantages of the big promotion to open up the market.

Before this big promotion, the domestic beauty brand Feiluer had already deployed in-site advertising (Shopee Ads) and off-site marketing channels in advance: through Shopee x Facebook advertising (CPAS) and affiliate marketing (AMS), it covered the top social media in Southeast Asia and linked up with more than 10,000 KOLs and alliance partners to bring traffic and conversion effects to the store.
