eBay sneaker sellers will get FedEx shipping labels

eBay sneaker sellers will get FedEx shipping labels

eBay US announced that it will work with FedEx to simplify the shipping service for sneaker sellers. Starting in October, eBay will provide sellers with free FedEx shipping labels when selling sneakers so that sellers can ship sneakers to the Authenticity Certification Center.

The change applies to new and revised listings, and eBay will default to FedEx as the domestic shipping service. When sellers use a FedEx shipping label, eBay will provide sellers with compensation if the item is damaged or otherwise in transit to the certified facility.

It is understood that FedEx has more than 2,000 delivery locations nationwide. If the seller has a printer, they can print the shipping label at home from their computer desktop or eBay application.

If you don’t have a printer, eBay Labels will provide a QR code that can be automatically emailed to you. You can use the QR code at the drop-off location to have FedEx print a shipping label and attach it to your shipment.

Alternatively, sellers can use their existing FedEx account to arrange pickup. If the seller has not set up one yet, please register a new FedEx account to facilitate pickup. Sellers who want to use this free shipping service must ship the sneakers to the certification center within 3 business days or less after the customer places the order.

It is worth mentioning that eBay US recently announced that it will launch new features and tools for sellers in the fall. Specific updates include listing and promotion, business operations, and shipping services to help sellers operate and consolidate their online businesses.

In terms of promotion, eBay now supports sellers to add videos to their stores and listings to showcase their brands and products. Later this year, eBay will allow sellers to upload 24 pictures in their listings (previously 12) without charging any fees, which applies to all categories except automobiles.

At the same time, sellers can now create newsletters using custom templates, send promotional offers, and add branding to increase awareness. These tools will help sellers build their own brands, easily tell their brand stories, and attract repeat customers.

On the business side, in the coming weeks, sellers will have access to a new and improved messaging experience on desktop and mobile devices. Staying connected with buyers will help sellers promote their products.

eBay will also provide sellers selling into and into France with important information on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation, as well as guidance for selling into the Great Britain (GB) and Northern Ireland (NI) marketplaces.

In terms of shipping services, in the next few months, eBay will launch a new eBay International Shipping Service to eligible sellers. This service will help sellers solve the difficulties they may encounter when shipping internationally.
