First of all, currently only three Shopee sites, namely Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, support setting up free shipping. All you have to do is click “I will cover the shipping fee” in the shipping section of the product details to enjoy free shipping. However, please note that after setting free shipping, you will no longer be able to enjoy the shipping subsidy policy. If sellers on Shopee Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam want free shipping, they need to apply for the Free Shipping Program (FSS). Shopee’s free shipping program supports sellers to apply on their own, except for Singapore and Brazil. After submitting the application, FSS permissions will be opened at a fixed time every Tuesday. Sellers who successfully participate can be displayed in the free shipping area on the front page, and the store's entire product platform will be uniformly marked with free shipping labels to better attract traffic to the store. After buyers receive the free shipping coupons on the platform, they can use them in stores that support free shipping. Shopee’s free shipping program will not conflict with other platforms’ free shipping promotions. Sellers can choose the one with greater discounts. For example, if the minimum spending threshold for other free shipping programs on the platform is PHP200, sellers can continue to use the more favorable FSS (minimum spending threshold PHP199). To set up free shipping on Shopee stores, you need to operate in the shipping template. The shipping cost of opening a store on Shopee is actually a considerable cost. If the merchant sets up free shipping, then these costs must be transferred to the price of the goods, otherwise your poor cost control may make the store unprofitable.
