How often does Shopee pay? How do I receive payment?

Sellers who want to open a store on the Shopee platform need to pay attention to one thing, that is, after each transaction of the store is completed, the money generated is not immediately transferred to the account, but there is a fixed time. So today I will tell you how long is the Shopee payment cycle?

Shopee platform can bind your Payoneer account for settlement and refund. If you have not opened a P card, you need to open it yourself; if you already have a P card, please remember to enter the Seller Center to bind your P card after opening the store on each site.

Shopee's payment cycle is once every two weeks, at the beginning and middle of the month respectively. The payment amount is the orders completed within two weeks before the payment date. The Singapore site uses SGD for settlement, and other sites use USD for settlement. Buyers still use local currency when paying.

Comparison of Shopee payment platforms

P card (Payone): normal rate 1.2%, minimum amount of USD 15, withdrawal time is about 1 day, exchange loss may occur

Pingpong: The normal fee rate is 1%, and the withdrawal time is about 2 hours. There is exchange loss.

Lianlian: Normal fee rate 0.7%, withdrawal time 5 minutes, no exchange loss

Notice:

The Vietnam site currently only supports binding P card

Cross-border sellers should not click "Add bank account", this is the payment method for local accounts

Completed funding

1. Completed disbursement - this week: refers to the amount that has been disbursed to my receiving account within this week;

2. Completed disbursements - this month: refers to the amount of funds that have been disbursed to my payment account this month, including 1;

3. Completed funding - total: refers to the amount of funding that the store has received since its opening, which includes 1 and 2.

First of all, everyone knows that the Shopee platform will make payments twice a month in the middle and at the end of the month, and there is no minimum payment amount limit.

Currently, the payment currency for Singapore site is SGB, the payment currency for Vietnam site is VND, and all other sites are USD; for Indonesia site payment, Payoneer will pay sellers in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) from the first payment cycle in July 2019; PingPong and LianLian Pay will pay sellers in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) from the second payment cycle in June 2019.

This is the most basic knowledge point for novice sellers. Today I will talk about a knowledge point that 90% of novice sellers don’t understand - how to view the "upcoming funds" and "already allocated funds" in the Shopee backend?

The interface we see is Shopee Backstage - Financial Management - My Income: on the left is the amount of "Upcoming Disbursements" and "Completed Disbursements (Current Week)", which is clear at a glance, allowing sellers to clearly see the details of the income; on the right is a clear list of orders, and you can click on a single order to view the order details; you can also click "Remit" the bill.

Because the "upcoming funding" rules for the Taiwan site are different from those for the other six sites, I will write about them separately.

The "upcoming payment" of the Taiwan site is calculated only for orders that have been scanned and entered into the warehouse, and the shipping costs borne by the seller have been deducted, which is our hidden price. Therefore, if there is no after-sales dispute, it is not much different from the "actual payment". If the seller has not shipped the order, the amount of this order will not be counted in the "upcoming payment".

If you find that your "upcoming disbursements" have become less, it is usually because the orders that have been received have been cancelled by the system for various reasons, or the customer has requested cancellation, so the order amount will not be counted in the "upcoming disbursements".

Shopee pays once every two weeks, which means twice a month. The official time given is the middle of the month and the end of the month, but the actual time is not necessarily the same. However, it can be guaranteed to be twice a month. The payment amount is for orders completed within 2 weeks before the payment date.
