At first, I responded very attentively. With the mentality of doing one good deed a day, I would persuade as many people as I could. I was trying to show that a person is handsome and kind. But after seeing so many of these questions, my blood pressure shot up like a broken faucet!

I don’t know how everyone makes their money, but if you insist on starting a business without knowing anything, I will definitely know how you lost your money!!

I spent a few days compiling some of the relevant questions about "entrepreneurship", combining similar items, and give you a unified answer here (it may not necessarily help you make money by starting a business, but it can at least help you lose as little money as possible).

I have a lot to say about this question. On the one hand, there are too many people asking this question; on the other hand, I have stepped into this pit myself. So, regarding this question, I only have one sentence to say:

That’s right, start a business in what you are good at! Choose what you are professional in! Choose what you have resources for! At the very least, choose what you are interested in! You may say, oh, Mr. Su Yan! How could I not know this? Who would start a business in a field that they are not professional in?

I can only say, ha! Young people, you still don’t see enough! Why do people nowadays have too much anxiety? In the questions I received about choosing a startup project, at least 80% of the people saw others making money in a certain industry, and the person who made money is usually your friend, your relative, your classmate, your friend’s friend, etc. The most important point is that before making money, the person who made money must be inferior to you in every aspect !

So what? You think, if someone like him can make money, why can't I, who is so outstanding, so handsome, so talented, and so tasteful? An inexplicable sense of self-confidence instantly sweeps over your body, and you seem to have opened up your Ren and Du meridians, regaining a new life, and resolutely decide that I want to start a business, and I can definitely do it! Why? Because people who are not as good as me can do it, so I must be better!

This is the real situation that most people will encounter when choosing a startup project. They are immersed in their own closed logic and firmly believe that " others can do it, so can I; others are worse than me in all aspects, so I must be better ." They seem to have never heard of what "survivor bias" is. They always think in terms of individual cases, which is very unreliable.

So I advise all friends who want to start a business, if you want to start a business, don’t choose a field that you don’t understand or are not an expert in. Because you have to think about a question, so many professionals are starving, how can you, an outsider, grab a job? ? Don’t professionals have face? ? ?

OK, after talking about the issue of choosing a track, let’s talk about the second question that everyone is concerned about: “ What abilities should entrepreneurs have?

This question seems to be quite big, because it seems that all kinds of related abilities are needed, such as sales ability, copywriting ability, planning ability, marketing ability, market research ability, interpersonal skills, execution ability, management ability, learning ability, leadership ability, risk tolerance, etc.

If we expand all of these, it will probably take us seven days and seven nights to finish, so let's condense them and talk about the two abilities that I think are the most important (I'm not saying that other abilities are not important, don't argue~), these two abilities are:

Let’s first talk about the first ability that an entrepreneur must have: “ the ability to obtain traffic .”

Let me first explain why I think the ability to " acquire traffic " is a must. Let me ask you a question, why do we start a business? It's for "profit"! ! Right?

A company that makes money is not necessarily a good company, but a company that does not make money is definitely not a good company. Therefore, "profit" must be the first goal of starting a business, in other words, "making money".

Since the purpose of our business is to make money, we must understand, learn, and memorize a formula:

Sales = traffic × conversion rate × average order value × repurchase rate × fission

Do you understand this formula? Without traffic, there will be no subsequent conversion, repeat purchase, and fission. In other words, traffic is 1, and everything else is 0. Without traffic, no matter how well you do other work, it will be useless. Without traffic, you will definitely have no sales. To put it bluntly, you will be gone soon.

Whether you are starting a business selling fruits, opening a restaurant, a milk tea shop, a clothing store, a beauty shop, a hotel, or being a live streamer, a self-media, or an e-commerce business, you must face the "traffic" problem, which you cannot avoid .

Then some friends must ask, traffic is so important, how to get traffic? You may have seen a lot of people teach you how to get traffic in the past, but? They are all very fragmented! Today I will summarize for you, for most people, getting traffic is not that complicated, in fact, there are these 5 directions:

After talking about the traffic issue, let’s talk about the second ability that entrepreneurs must have, “ the ability to stabilize emotions .”

Maybe you find this ability very strange and think that emotions have no effect on entrepreneurship. If you think so, I think you have either never started a business or your business has been too smooth and you have never experienced a low point. You have never experienced the cold rain hitting your face and that kind of sadness~

In fact, many people's mentality is very easy to collapse. They can't find a suitable entrepreneurial project, their mentality collapses; they are cheated in store decoration, they collapse; they haven't received a single order in a month, they collapse; the number of users is decreasing, they collapse; the number of self-media fans has not increased, they collapse; the competitor's products have taken away some of the customers, they collapse again.

To be honest, when it comes to starting a business, it all comes down to your mentality. In the early stages of starting a business, which is the period of huge profits, you can still use all kinds of advantages, resources, and abilities to push forward. But when it comes to the period of small profits or no profits, if you don’t have a good mentality, you may drive yourself crazy before your business goes bankrupt.

I have been through this myself, and I have also gone through it step by step, so I can understand everyone's feelings, but I can't solve this problem. If you don't know how to generate traffic, I can teach you, because I know this. But if you are emotionally unstable and in a bad state, I can't help you. In this regard, you can only help yourself.
