It’s the 315 Gala again, and one year later, how are these companies that were exposed last year doing now? The author tracked the dynamics of script live broadcast, online water army, flavored rice, face-slapping cosmetics, and free storytelling machines.

The annual 315 Gala is coming soon. Do you still remember the problems and companies exposed last year?

On March 15, 2023, a series of consumer problems were exposed, including Thai fragrant rice, "face-slapping" cosmetics, live broadcast scripts, free storytelling machines, online water armies, problems with seat belts at tourist attractions, refurbished goods, and inferior cement.

After the gala was broadcast, relevant regulatory authorities took quick action and many related companies also responded.

Now, one year later, how are these companies that were exposed last year doing now? Let's take a look.

1. Script live broadcast: one anchor account has been unblocked, and the number of fans has increased by nearly one million

Last year’s gala exposed scripted live broadcasts. Some emotional live broadcasts had fictitious plots, claiming to help people resolve disputes, mediate family problems, etc. They used fake live broadcast scripts to gain the trust of the elderly and sell so-called "medicines" that claimed to be able to cure diseases, which were actually just ordinary foods such as solid beverages and compressed candies.

The anchors who were named, Jun'an, Gao Leng, Xiao Zhang Shuo Shi, Ma Hongliang, Fang Ming Kuai Dating, Er Liang Er Lao Ban, and He He Studio, were quickly blocked.

The author found that the accounts of several of these anchors have been unblocked, and they have released a lot of works in the past year, and even their number of fans has increased.

For example, this anchor named "Gaoleng" has been frequently live streaming to sell goods, and he has nearly 1 million more fans than when he was named last year.

Another anchor "Erliang" is not as active. Currently, his account has only 10 videos, 9 of which were released before November 2023, and the remaining 1 was released during the Chinese New Year this year.

The author boldly speculates that other anchors may have started their own business, but I just haven’t seen it.

In addition, a company was also mentioned on March 15 last year - Li Ge (Linyi) Trading Co., Ltd.

Tianyancha shows that the company was deregistered in September last year.

2. Internet Troops: Some Companies Have Been Deregistered, Some Companies Have Only One Employee

The evening party also exposed the behavior of some platforms selling live broadcast water armies, among which two companies were mentioned: Jiaxing Yuhe Culture Media Co., Ltd. and Yan'an Yarunjin Network Technology Co., Ltd.

Sanyan discovered that Yan'an Yarunjin Network Technology Co., Ltd. was deregistered in December last year.

Jiaxing Yuhe Culture Media Co., Ltd. had a contract dispute last year and was ordered to pay more than 130,000 yuan to the plaintiff.

Tianyancha shows that it has only one employee.

3. Flavored rice: some companies have had their licenses revoked, some companies are suspected of receiving honorary titles, and fragrant rice flavors have reappeared on e-commerce platforms

Last year's 315 Gala, in the segment exposing "flavored rice", named many companies including Anhui Xiangwang Grain and Oil Food Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Shouju Yongliang Grain and Oil Food Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Zhongsheng Grain Co., Ltd., Huainan Chufeng Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Fengmi Industrial Co., Ltd.

After the evening party was exposed, the Feidong County Market Supervision Administration and the Feidong County Public Security Bureau reported that the Feidong County market supervision, public security and other joint law enforcement teams rushed to the scene as soon as possible and have sealed off Anhui Xiangwang Grain and Oil Food Technology Co., Ltd. and sealed all rice and other raw materials on site.

The company's legal representative has been summoned by the public security organ. We will conduct a strict investigation and punishment in accordance with the law and regulations, and will promptly inform the public.

The author found that Anhui Xiangwang Grain and Oil Food Technology Co., Ltd. was revoked on June 26, 2023.

The company also has three execution information, with the case filing dates being December last year and January this year, and the total execution amount being 553,400 yuan.

Shouxian Yongliang Grain, Oil and Food Co., Ltd. is still in existence.

Tianyancha information shows that on April 13 last year, the company was fined 2 million yuan by the Huainan Municipal Market Supervision Administration for making false or misleading commercial advertisements for its products or helping other operators to make false or misleading commercial advertisements.

What’s interesting is that, I don’t know whether the company has turned over a new leaf or for some other reason, it seems to have won an honorary title.

The author also noticed that on January 8 this year, Tianyancha forwarded a message from a certain self-media showing that in the 2023 Anhui Province's famous and excellent enterprise display and recommendation activity with the theme of "Anhui Province's 2023 Quality and Integrity Demonstration and Display Unit", the company won the honorary title of "Anhui Province's 2023 Quality and Integrity Demonstration and Display Unit".

However, the source marked by Tianyancha no longer contains this news.

In addition to the two companies mentioned above that tampered with rice, the evening party also exposed that Shanghai Langfeng Spice Co., Ltd. was engaged in flavor production without a production license and had an unqualified production environment.

After the evening party was exposed, some media reported that the Shanghai Pudong New Area Market Supervision Bureau rushed to Shanghai Langfeng Spice Co., Ltd. that night.

In addition, after the gala was exposed, some e-commerce platforms immediately removed the fragrant rice essence used to make fake "Thai fragrant rice".

The author found that Shanghai Langfeng Spice Co., Ltd. is still in existence.

The company has one historical administrative penalty information and one environmental penalty information, but both occurred many years ago.

I don’t know whether the company was not punished after the incident was exposed at the 315 Gala last year, or whether the punishment information was not made public.

In addition, the author found traces of fragrant rice essence on some e-commerce platforms. The manufacturers of these fragrant rice essences are also different.

4. "Face-slapping" cosmetics: some companies were deregistered, some were fined, and some had no penalty information

In this segment, the evening party exposed that non-injectable beauty needles were exposed, and that makeup-sized beauty needles could cause disfigurement if used for injection.

Six companies were named, including Suixi Haimao Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Jipeptide Factor Medical Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Yishengzi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Beijing Xurimei Industry Trading Co., Ltd., Guangdong Yutaimei Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Yisheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Among the six companies named, five are located in Guangdong Province, and three of them are located in Guangzhou.

That night, the Guangzhou Market Supervision Bureau issued a "Situation Report" stating that the Guangzhou city and district market supervision departments had taken immediate action and rushed to the scene as soon as possible to investigate and deal with the companies involved, seal the products involved, and organize random inspections. Subsequent investigations and severe punishments in accordance with laws and regulations will be promptly reported to the public.

The author found that Guangzhou Yishengzi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Jipeptide Factor Medical Biotechnology Co., Ltd. were cancelled in May last year and February this year respectively.

In May last year, Beijing Xuri Beauty Trading Co., Ltd. was ordered to correct its violations of the Advertising Law, the Anti-Unfair Competition Law and other regulations by the Beijing Haidian District Market Supervision Administration and was fined 1.1 million yuan.

In addition, in the same month, the company was included in the list of seriously illegal and untrustworthy enterprises for other violations of laws and administrative regulations that seriously undermined the order of fair competition and disrupted the market order.

In June last year, Guangzhou Yisheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was fined more than 390,000 yuan by the Guangzhou Baiyun District Market Supervision Administration for illegal activities as a cosmetics manufacturer.

The two companies, Suixi Haimao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Yutaimei Biotechnology Co., Ltd., are not only still in existence, but no penalty information is shown on Tianyancha.

5. Free storytelling machines: All the companies named were given administrative penalties

In this segment, the evening show exposed the tricks of drug dealers. The "storytelling machine" sent to the elderly for free concealed a scam of sky-high-priced drugs.

The companies named include Shenzhen QiAimi Electronics Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Xiangguifa Technology Co., Ltd.

After the gala was exposed, some media reported that law enforcement officers from the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Administration investigated and dealt with the storytelling machine company exposed by CCTV's 3.15 gala overnight.

At Shenzhen QiAimi Electronics Co., Ltd., law enforcement officers opened a storytelling machine on the spot. The audio was similar to that exposed in the 315 Gala. There was also a so-called 400 health hotline, which implanted drug advertisements, exaggerated efficacy, and false propaganda in the storytelling machine.

At Xiangguifa Technology Company, law enforcement officers seized several storytelling machines from the company's warehouse.

Tianyancha shows that both Shenzhen QiAimi Electronics Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Xiangguifa Technology Co., Ltd. are currently in existence.

In May last year, Shenzhen QiAimi Electronics Co., Ltd. was fined more than 1.12 million yuan and its illegal gains were confiscated by the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Administration for illegal advertising.

Shenzhen Xiangguifa Technology Co., Ltd. has a total of three administrative penalty information, all of which were due to product (commodity) quality violations, and was fined a total of 360,900 yuan.

Two of the penalty information were issued after the 315 Gala was exposed last year, and the amount of the fines exceeded 30,000 yuan.

From the above content, it can be seen that some of the named companies have been revoked or cancelled, and some companies have been punished.

However, some of the exposed companies did not show any penalty information, and some of the named companies were even suspected of receiving honorary titles, which is very intriguing.
