How much is the commission on Lazada platform ?

On the Lazada platform, sellers also need to pay a 6% service tax. That is, when opening a store on Lazada, the sales commission that sellers need to pay = (product price - promotional discount/coupon amount) × commission rate + 6% commission service tax. According to Lazada's commission rules, the commission ratios for different categories are different, ranging from 1% to 4%.

Therefore, when calculating the sales commission charged by the platform, sellers need to look at the commission rate of this category. In addition, the Lazada platform will also charge sellers a payment fee. The simple formula is: fee = product price × 2%.

Like sales commission, this part also needs to add commission service fee, so the actual payment fee = 2% × (product price - general promotion discount - bundled sales/Flexi combo discount + shipping fee paid by the buyer) + 6% service tax × handling fee.

How are Lazada taxes calculated?

Import tax = declared price * import tax rate (round the result to the nearest thousandth place)

Value-added tax = declared price * (1 + import tax rate) * value-added tax rate (round the result to the nearest thousandth place)

Income tax = declared price * (1 + import tax rate) * income tax rate (round the result to the nearest thousandth place)

Total tax calculation = import tax + value added tax + income tax

For parcels with a value greater than or equal to USD 3, a uniform deduction of 18.3% will be made regardless of the category for successful or failed delivery in the first week; the difference in the Textile/Bag/Shoes category will be deducted according to the corresponding collection ratio in the third week.

For example, for Bag orders, 18.3% tax was deducted in the first week, and 44%-18.3%=21.7% tax was deducted in the third week. For parcels less than $3, whether they were delivered successfully or failed in the first week, 10% tax will be levied in the third week.

Declared price = the sum of the selling prices displayed on the front page of the seller's product details page for all the products in the package - seller discounts (multiple discounts, coupons, etc.) (excluding Lazada platform coupons)

Please note that customs calculates taxes based on the package. If a package contains products of different tax rates, the corresponding standards will be applied. The standards for each category of products are determined based on the declared price of the entire package.
