Alibaba International Station Industry Product MOQ Rules Upgrade

In order to strengthen the B-type transaction mentality of Alibaba International Station buyers and clarify the B2B platform positioning of Alibaba International Station, Alibaba International Station will upgrade the MOQ publishing rules for products in some industries.

1. MOQ Rules

After the MOQ rules are upgraded, when releasing products under the categories specified by the industry clerk, the MOQ of the products must be filled in according to the MOQ quantity requirements under the units defined by the industry clerk. If it is not filled in as required, the products cannot be submitted.

2. Scope of effectiveness of MOQ rules

This MOQ rule upgrade involves 25 first-level industries and 4,136 leaf categories.

The first-level industries specifically involve: Apparel, Beauty & Personal Care, Construction & Real Estate, Consumer Electronics, Electrical Equipment & Supplies, Fashion Accessories, Furniture, Gifts & Crafts, Home & Garden, Home Appliances, Lights & Lighting, Luggage, Bags & Cases, Material Handling, Packaging & Printing, Power Transmission, Renewable Energy, Safety, Security, Shoes & Accessories, Sports & Entertainment, Testing Instruments & Equipment, Timepieces, Jewelry, Eyewear, Tools & Hardware, Toys & Hobbies, Vehicle Parts & Accessories

3. Effective time of the rules

It is expected to be gradually upgraded according to the first-level industry starting from October 17, 2022:

The first batch of industries expected to take effect on October 17 (3): Consumer Electronics, Sports & Entertainment, Vehicle Parts & Accessories;

The second batch of industries expected to take effect on October 31 (6): Apparel, Beauty & Personal Care, Construction & Real Estate, Home & Garden, Packaging & Printing, Renewable Energy;

The third batch of industries expected to take effect on November 14 (7): Fashion Accessories, Gifts & Crafts, Home Appliances, Luggage, Bags & Cases, Shoes & Accessories, Timepieces, Jewelry, Eyewear, Toys & Hobbies;

The fourth batch is expected to take effect on December 5 (9): Electrical Equipment & Supplies, Furniture, Lights & Lighting, Material Handling, Power Transmission, Testing Instruments & Equipment, Tools & Hardware, Safety, Security

Note:

This MOQ rule upgrade does not involve merchants who have already participated in the drop shipping activities;

This MOQ rule upgrade is only effective for new products and modified products. Products that have been approved will not be forced to be removed from the shelves or modified by the system due to the rule upgrade;

The MOQ rule upgrade will be adjusted based on changes in buyer and seller feedback after the rules take effect. Please pay attention to relevant notifications.
