Alibaba International Station launches "Plan S"

Alibaba International Station launches "Plan S"

In response to merchants affected by Indonesia's new e-commerce regulations and Southeast Asian e-commerce policies, Alibaba International Station announced the launch of the "S Plan", taking the lead in releasing comprehensive support measures to provide traffic, operations, logistics and other support to all Chinese cross-border sellers in the Southeast Asian B2B market.

A relevant person in charge of Alibaba International Station said that S stands for "Shield" and "Sure", and hopes to provide a safe haven and more certainty for the majority of cross-border sellers.

The specific measures of the plan include: 1. One-click product transfer to resume operations as soon as possible. Alibaba International Station will comprehensively simplify the store opening process for affected merchants, provide one-click product transfer, intelligent translation, intelligent product selection and other tools to help merchants open stores as soon as possible and resume operations as soon as possible to minimize losses; 2. 3-6 months of traffic support. Merchants who meet different requirements will be provided with 3-6 months of traffic support to achieve explosive growth on the new platform as soon as possible.

3. Help customize export plans based on the situation of the Southeast Asian market. Alibaba International Station will provide customized export plans for each merchant through a special portal for the support plan, and provide exclusive support packages for the Southeast Asian market; 4. Professional guidance throughout the process. Alibaba International Station will provide merchants who have just opened a store with a "worry-free companion" service throughout the process, including one-on-one professional operation guidance, complete logistics, funding and other fulfillment service support.

In September this year, Alibaba International Station announced that it will fully launch national operations, that is, to conduct in-depth research on the characteristics of different countries and markets, and through various methods such as launching national pavilions, help Chinese sellers operate more professionally and meticulously in markets suitable for them, bring in more accurate customers, and thus further expand business growth.

Among them, Southeast Asia is the beginning of Alibaba International Station's national operation strategy. Alibaba International Station has launched Southeast Asian country pavilions that are more in line with local market needs. This means that Southeast Asian customers will see a different Alibaba International Station website and APP, with language habits, interactive interfaces, product selection, etc. that are more in line with local needs. It will even design a unique business model based on local actual conditions.

At present, Alibaba International Station has carried out targeted traceability for 12 million local retailers, manufacturers, factories and engineering companies in Southeast Asia, attracting more professional buyers from Southeast Asia to join the platform and achieve more accurate buyer-seller order matching.

In addition to Southeast Asia, Alibaba International Station has also begun to attract investment for the European Pavilion. Different from the Southeast Asian market, Europe focuses on products that meet local quality certification qualifications. It will also follow up with multiple national markets in the Americas.
