With the rise of live streaming, the track has also become diversified. One of them is called single product hit, where an account focuses on creating a product and attracting the target users of this product. This article analyzes in detail how to create a single product account through examples. Let's learn together.

Today we are going to share two very interesting accounts, both of which belong to the same type – single product hit accounts!

I have emphasized to you before that there is a great opportunity to create single products on Douyin, but I don’t know how many people have actually tried it.

1. Selling Ultraman Tiga

I believe that many people love Ultraman, whether they are middle-aged people in their thirties or forties, or children of four or five years old.

Our little kid watched a few episodes of cartoons during the summer vacation, and when he came back he said he wanted to buy an Ultraman toy.

In the updated video of this account, the toy images of Tiga are piled up into a mountain, and the visual effect is quite eye-catching.

The cumulative sales from live broadcasts to date have exceeded 50,000 orders, and the product packages are also quite attractive.

About 15 toys cost 19.9 yuan, and 25 toys cost 29.9 yuan. Many parents are tempted to place an order.

Of course, the only problem with this account is that the content and live broadcast updates are unstable. I don’t know if it has encountered problems with supply, authorization, etc.

2. Selling potato chips

This year on TikTok, this type of yam chips has sold millions of orders, and many snack accounts are promoting the product.

The price of 9.9 yuan for 10 packs is quite explosive, and the key is that shipping is free.

We bought this product ourselves and tested it, and the quality is very good.

When imitating the videos, I also saw an account that shot more than 1,000 videos in total, and all the videos only sold this one product.

In total, we sold more than 100,000 orders, with a profit of more than 200,000 yuan.

This account has a good positioning, but there are three obvious problems:

Firstly, the content shot by the account is not very good. More than 95% of the videos are taken from the table, and there are problems with the clarity, wording, and pictures.

Secondly, the account did not effectively use traffic to convert content. So although a lot of videos were shot, the sales were average and did not attract traffic from other videos or searches.

Third, the account does not do any live broadcast. For a product with sales of four or five million, if it could have a stable live broadcast every day to absorb the traffic, the sales would be much more than this.

So this account chose the right path but got the method wrong.

In addition, there are many other single-product accounts, such as those that only sell garbage bags, those that only sell children's book covers, and those that only sell spicy strips.

We only sell one product from beginning to end, and there are three or four SKUs, but the only difference is the quantity and weight.

3. The benefits of single product promotion for ordinary teams

The main reason why I want to share these two accounts is to help everyone reduce the chances of trial and error.

(1) Regardless of whether you are an ordinary person or a small team of three or five people, if you want to make short videos or sell goods through live streaming, you will easily fall into the misunderstanding of doing it in a big way.

Especially in categories like snacks, home furnishings, and clothing, there are dozens or hundreds of products at the beginning. This quantity is still considered small, and the key team may not even understand the products.

But the advantage of making single products is that everyone has enough time to research and create, and most importantly, it saves money!

(2) The cost of creating a single product account is very low, whether it is time cost, shooting cost, experience cost, etc.

You have dozens of products, and you have to evaluate them one by one, find merchants, think of solutions, etc.

But it's much easier to sell just one product.

If you save a little, you can shoot hundreds of videos for one product.

If you want to create some visual effects, just buy dozens of the same product.

If you really find that you can't do it well and give up, the loss will be just that little.

Creating a single product account is particularly suitable for a team’s initial training and ability assessment.

If you can come up with dozens or hundreds of sales scripts and conversion videos for one product, are you afraid that you won’t be able to do that for other products?

(3) This type of single product is best suited for personal trial and error. There is no difference between creating a Douyin single product account and running a store on Taobao or Pinduoduo that only sells one product.

Since the individual products have sales on Taobao and Pinduoduo, there will also be opportunities for transactions with the help of Douyin's traffic and interest recommendations.

Especially for individuals, when buying a product, you don’t need any professional equipment, you can just take a picture and have a chance to make a deal.

4. Look for opportunities for niche products to become hits

The minority I am talking about here has two meanings:

One is that there is less competition for the product itself. For example, if everyone is selling popular items such as mops, mobile phone cases, and garbage bags, then you may have an opportunity if you sell products such as potato chips, spicy strips, and customized license plates.

The second is to segment the population, such as only selling hairbands for young girls, marbles for little boys, and large-size clothing for plump ladies.

There are also some specialty foods that are only sold in small places, such as Huangshan sesame cakes, small sesame pastries, sesame cakes, etc.

Many people will say that it is difficult to find such small products to promote and increase followers by opening a window display!

First, individuals can apply for a self-employed business license and directly open the window display and live streaming functions.

Secondly, new Douyin accounts can now open the showcase function with zero fans, so it is easy to sell goods.

Third, for individuals, if they find two or three products with potential, anyone can create a matrix account. Even if each account only features real people appearing in short videos to sell products, it can be executed very well.
