Do Amazon FBA shipments require customs declaration? How to declare customs?

Do Amazon FBA shipments require customs declaration? How to declare customs?

Now when people open a store on Amazon, they generally need to choose a logistics delivery method. Nowadays, FBA delivery is very common. Generally, overseas products need to go through customs. Does Amazon FBA delivery require customs declaration?

Does Amazon FBA shipment require customs declaration?

The first is the issue of declaration, which is generally referred to as "customs declaration". When export goods leave the country, the consignor should declare them to the customs within 24 hours of loading.

Specifically, after the export goods are transported to warehouses and places such as docks, stations, airports, and post offices, they should be declared to the customs within 24 hours of customs regulations.

The declaration content includes the operating unit, consignor and consignee unit, declaration unit, transportation method, transaction method, transaction country and actual situation of the imported and exported goods (mainly including name, specification model, quantity, weight, price, etc.).

The documents that the customs declarant should submit for review include:

(1) Multiple copies of the declaration form filled out by the customs broker or printed out by the automated customs declaration pre-entry personnel. The number of copies required depends on the needs of each department. When applying for export tax refund, an additional yellow declaration form for export tax refund shall be filled out;

(2) Export License

(3) Commercial Invoice

(4) Packing list, which may not be required for bulk cargo or single packaged goods;

(5) Outbound Goods Clearance Certificate. However, in POCIB, illegal products with no regulatory condition B do not need to submit an "Outbound Goods Clearance Certificate" when declaring for export.

(6)Other relevant documents.

Secondly, regarding the inspection of goods, goods inspection is customs inspection, which refers to the administrative legal act of the customs to inspect goods in accordance with the law to determine whether the nature, origin, goods conditions, quantity and value of inbound and outbound goods, means of transport and articles are consistent with the contents filled in the customs declaration form after accepting the declaration of the customs broker of the customs declaration unit. Through the inspection of goods, it can prevent inferior goods from being passed off as good ones, illegal imports and exports, smuggling, violations, and evasion of customs duties, ensure that customs duties are levied according to the rate, and protect the normal development of foreign trade.

All imported and exported goods, except those exempted from inspection by the General Administration of Customs for special reasons, shall be subject to customs inspection. Bulk import and export goods, dangerous goods, and fresh goods may be inspected on site upon request. Under special circumstances, upon request and approval by the customs, personnel may also be sent to inspect goods at factories, warehouses, or construction sites outside the specified locations at specified times, and fees shall be charged as specified.

The second thing is to pay taxes, because export tariffs are levied by the customs on export goods according to the relevant policies and regulations of the country, and the primary purpose is to control the blind export of some products. At present, except for a few products, most goods are exempt from tariffs.

If you ship via Amazon FBA, you also need to declare customs. All overseas products need to pass customs before they can arrive in the country, so everyone must report to the customs in time before shipping.
