Is Shopee's reconciliation reliable? What is the difference between upcoming and already allocated funds?

Shopee is a cross-border e-commerce platform. I believe that many consumers have made purchases on this platform. Indeed, the products on this platform are quite popular among consumers. Is the reconciliation of Shopee funds reliable? The following content will introduce it to you.

It is reliable.

This is the basic knowledge point for novice sellers. I guarantee that 90% of novice sellers do not understand the difference between the upcoming and already allocated funds in the Shopee backend:

Go to Shopee backend - Financial Management - My Income: On the left are the amounts of "Upcoming Disbursements" and "Completed Disbursements (Current Week)", allowing sellers to clearly see the details of the income, and on the right is a clear list of orders. Click on a single order to view the order details, or click "Send" the bill.

The rules for "upcoming payment" on the Taiwan site are different from those on the other six sites. The "upcoming payment" on the Taiwan site is only calculated for orders that have been scanned and put into the warehouse, and the shipping costs borne by the seller have been deducted, which is our hidden price. Therefore, if there is no after-sales dispute, it is not much different from the "real payment".

If the seller does not ship the goods, the amount of the order will not be counted in the "upcoming payment". If you find that your "upcoming payment" has decreased, it is usually because the order that has been received has been cancelled by the system for various reasons, or the customer requested to cancel it, so the order amount will not be counted in the "upcoming payment".

The Southeast Asian site is slightly different from the Taiwan site. Taking Thailand as an example, "upcoming disbursement" includes all orders. Even if the order has not been shipped yet, the order amount will be counted as "upcoming disbursement". If the customer cancels the order before it is shipped, the "upcoming disbursement" amount will be reduced immediately.

If it is an unshipped order, the entire income is calculated directly, including the shipping fee that the seller should bear, so this amount is inflated, and it will be less after being scanned into the warehouse. If it is an order that has been shipped and scanned into the warehouse, the shipping fee that the seller should bear will be deducted, which is our actual income, which is the same as the calculation method in Taiwan.

Even for orders that have been scanned into the warehouse, they may still be cancelled during the delivery process or even after the customer has signed for them, or the customer may apply for after-sales service after confirming receipt of the goods. Therefore, only orders that are fully completed and have no after-sales service are actually funded. It is recommended to check the "Funded" bill every month.

Completed disbursements: This week - refers to the amount that has been disbursed to my payment account this week; This month - refers to the amount that has been disbursed to my payment account this month, which includes this week; All - refers to the amount of disbursements received since the store opened, which includes this week and this month.

Regarding the question raised at the beginning, we have introduced it in the above content. In fact, Shopee's funding reconciliation is still reliable. In addition, Shopee merchants also need to master some other store operation skills so that they can operate the store better.
