Now, official account articles can modify the cover image! This change means that operators can more flexibly adjust the visual presentation of articles to increase appeal and readership.

The day before yesterday (September 27), WeChat public account articles now support modifying the cover image!

This adjustment is really good news for public account operators!

If you want to modify the cover after publishing the article, you can modify the cover at the bottom of the modification page to replace and crop the cover.

The modified new cover will take effect on the account homepage and new forwarding cards.

Usually the cover image is the first impression of the article and plays a vital role in attracting readers to click and read. This function adjustment can enable operators to optimize the first impression of the article and enhance the user reading experience based on user feedback or new ideas.

So far, the official account articles have supported the following modifications: title (3 words), text (20 words), pictures (3 pictures), video (1) and cover.

It should also be noted that each content can only be modified once.

I have to say that there have been a lot of adjustments to public accounts recently, and they have become more and more friendly to operators.

Just the day before yesterday, there was a new change in the official account. The "blocking harassing messages" function was upgraded, and messages suspected of harassment will be automatically blocked by the platform.

A few days ago, the WeChat public platform issued a statement, saying that it would take strict measures against illegal content in the message area. It will launch a rectification campaign against illegal and bad content in messages posted by some users on the platform and manually selected and pinned by public account operators.

This function upgrade is also the implementation of the previous notice, helping operators to set up the first line of defense from the perspective of the platform. This also shows that the WeChat platform is creating a healthier and more orderly content ecosystem and interactive communication environment.

In addition, when you open a public account article forwarded by a friend in WeChat for Business, a new "speed reading" function has been added at the bottom. After clicking, you can use AI to quickly read the key points of the article. This function is still in internal testing and has not been fully launched.

This speed reading function provides users with a way to quickly obtain article information and also provides operators with a new way to present content.

The recent series of updates to WeChat official accounts reflect the platform’s dual care for operators and users. It not only improves the operational efficiency of official accounts, but also brings users a better reading experience!
