1. Choose the right topic

You can’t just write whatever you want when you write articles, and you can’t just open your computer and start typing frantically when you hear someone say that writing articles can make money.

The first step is to choose a topic, that is, think about what you want to write.

First, think about whether anyone will read what you write.

Second, think about what you write and whether it is something you are good at.

Third, think about what you are writing. Is it the current hot topic and how to integrate it?

Fourth, think about whether you plan to write about this for a long time. Only by delving deeply into the content of a certain field and forming a difference with others can you have the possibility of obtaining high returns.

2. Ensure a certain amount

Many people have two common problems when writing articles.

It's either a short essay of three to five hundred words, or a long essay of three to four thousand words. Of course, everyone chooses the former.

But think about it, you are not a big shot, can you write profound and good content in three or four hundred words?

I suggest that 800-1500 words per article is more appropriate, and it is best not to exceed 200 words.

Especially in today's fast-paced reading environment, an article that is too long will affect the reading volume and retention rate of the article.

3. The article should be well organized and layered

Many people's articles are long-winded and diary-like.

But this kind of article is meaningless and uncomfortable for users to read.

Writing an article has a structure. We have learned the general-to-specific, general-to-specific-general structure, etc. since childhood.

Whether you are writing about theory, method, narrative, business review, etc., you can all adopt the segmented approach like me. It will make your writing more organized and it will be more convenient for users.

4. Adding cases makes it more authentic and credible

In the article, I shared a screenshot of the income I earned from writing headlines, which increased the authenticity of the content.

On the one hand, with cases, users can have a more intuitive understanding when reading.

On the other hand, the article can be made richer by showing specific numbers, illustrations, results, etc.

In addition, many cases are more immersive and can make people empathize with the characters.

5. Don’t write everything, write vertically

In fact, before writing an article, the first step is to position it.

After positioning, you can choose the topic. Otherwise, many people will have no idea, or just write whatever comes to mind.

Following hot topics every day, the entire account has become a public welfare hotline.

If you want to write about love, you can write various emotional stories, about villagers, celebrities, classmates, etc.

If you want to write about war, write about stories of dynasties, overseas countries, etc.

The more vertical the account is, the more fans will read it, and the higher the price per read will be.

6. Learn to summarize and give suggestions

When we write articles, whether they are about love, technology, finance, war, etc., on the one hand, we do it to restore the facts and not to fabricate or distort them at will.

On the other hand, it is about expressing your own feelings and thoughts. Otherwise, if everyone writes the same thing with no difference, then you will have even less traffic.

2. Help users summarize

Don’t assume that users will read it word for word, and don’t assume that users will understand it all. You need to help users summarize and quickly understand the ideas you want to express.

Any project that wants to make money requires a huge price to pay.
