I spent 5,000 yuan to buy 20 courses on selling good products on Douyin, but none of them was useful!

The author spent 5,000 yuan to buy more than 20 Douyin courses, but found the content to be empty and repetitive. This article shares the author's experience after the courses did not work, summarizes the difficulties faced by self-media and Douyin, and reminds most people that this industry is not suitable for them, and is suitable for those who blindly enter the industry.

Hello, fellow villagers. I am the village chief.

Recently, I spent more than 5,000 yuan to buy more than 20 courses on selling good products in the Douyin live broadcast room, but I found that they were of no use at all.

One person with a mobile phone can easily earn 20,000 yuan a month at home.

This type of copywriting is used in almost all industries, and its charging effect is obvious.

But in reality, money is not that easy to make.

1. I spent 5,000 yuan to buy a course on bringing good products

Some time ago, I thought about finding something for my teammates to do to increase the team's income.

Then I looked at many projects of Douyin, and after much thought, I found that the track of snacks and good products is relatively easy.

First, snacks have a very wide audience, and men, women, young and old are all consumers.

Secondly, the cost of making good snacks is extremely low. You don’t need any professional knowledge about snacks, nor do you need a professional scene, and it doesn’t cost much to buy samples.

Although I have analyzed many Douyin cases, I have never tried the snack and good products track, so I adopted the mentality of paying.

I directly searched for Douyin’s live training rooms for selling good products and short videos, and bought more than 20 courses at one go, some priced at 699, 399, 99, and even 1 cent, spending a total of 5,000.

But as a firm payer of knowledge, I think it is necessary to spend this money.

After all, it’s the predecessors who have summarized the practical experience, and the later generations have to pay to learn from them.

But when I finished all the courses with a thirst for knowledge, I not only regretted it, but was also speechless.

2. The 5,000-plus-yuan course has no practical value

I am here to share with you some of the problems I found, hoping to help you avoid pitfalls.

1. The content shared is too simple

Don’t be fooled by the fact that there are dozens of courses in the teacher’s course list. When you actually pay, you will find that many chapters of the courses are only two or three minutes long.

They split some positive and simple knowledge points into a course to explain them.

Of course, for complete novices who are unwilling to explore on their own, this is knowledge popularization.

But for the actual sales operation, it is actually of no use.

2. A group of people are selling the same courses

I browsed the live teaching rooms that were teaching how to sell good products, sell products through short videos, and sell snacks. When I clicked on the courses they were selling, I found that many accounts were selling the same course.

From this we can judge that many people are from the same institution, and the purpose of using fixed shots + rhetoric is to sell courses.

What’s even more ridiculous is that among the more than 20 courses that I paid for, some bloggers directly took parts of other bloggers’ courses and put them after their own courses.

Maybe this blogger was also cheated by others and is using the same tactics to cheat others.

3. You still don’t know how to place an order after reading this

Whether it is a 699 course or a 99 course, it is more about the basic function settings.

For example, how to put products on the shelves, how to add products in short videos, etc.

However, there is no real practical information on how to increase the number of views of a short video or even make products through short videos.

One of the courses teaches you how to reach 1,000 followers. The teacher gives two methods:

The first is to go to other people’s live broadcast rooms to brush up the rankings, and the second is to create some high-quality videos by yourself.

Look at these two methods, do you think they are really valuable?

3. Real growth requires a huge price

In order to learn, I probably followed more than 200 accounts that promote good products. I joined some bloggers’ fan groups and carefully read the comments of some accounts. I found that most non-institutional accounts are mothers, some are middle-aged women over 40 or 50 years old, who have updated 70 or 80 videos, but still have orders in the dozens, and some even paid for promotion.

Why do so many people want to pay to learn? On the one hand, it is the desire to make money, and on the other hand, the projects are packaged too simply.

Do you really think you can make money by just using a mobile phone and posting videos?

But in fact, if you really want to create an account to promote snacks and good products, you need to pay a huge cost, especially for ordinary people.

For this purpose, I specifically went to find a friend who actually placed orders and was doing a good job of promoting products. She also did this alone after resigning from her job.

First, she started to promote her products a year ago, and spent several thousand yuan on tuition fees. In the end, she relied on her own exploration to gradually get orders.

The process of issuing the order took more than half a year.

Because she mainly does natural flow, although she would occasionally get orders in the early stage, they were unstable.

The works I posted before either received two or three likes, or none at all. It took me half a year of persistence before the interactions and orders stabilized.

Secondly, she always emphasized that content is the key to determining the increase in followers and sales of an account.

When everyone's content is similar, the key is how to make your personality more distinct, product introduction richer, and attract talent faster.

Because when you find a product, there will always be someone faster than you, and when you publish more works, there will always be someone more than you.

Of course, it is very painful for one person to explore, including the later payment on DOU+, Suixintui, and Qianchuan, and countless wasted money.

Sometimes the commission for a product is only four or five yuan, but the transaction price is more than 10 yuan.

4. Most people are not suitable and have not found their own track

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that most people are not suitable for self-media or for promoting products on Douyin.

First, everyone has a track that suits him or her. Maybe you can’t do self-media, but you can open an online store or a physical store.

Secondly, maybe you are not good at promoting products, but you can be a commentator for movies and TV series, make headlines with pictures and stories, and create a book list account.

Third, everyone’s cognition and trial-and-error conditions are different. You can persist for three months without any income, while others can persist for half a year. It just so happens that this project only became popular after half a year, so others made money.

Fourthly, money-making projects do not rely on training, but on continuous personal practice. Training is more about literacy and sharing some basic operations.

The most important point is that if a person has already made a lot of money on a project, how can he have the time to train you?

On the one hand, they tell you that they can earn tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of yuan a month by selling good products, while on the other hand, they are still making the meager money from your 9.9 or 99 sources?

Fifth, if a method of making money is really effective, it is no longer so effective the moment it is shared, because you can learn how to make money by just spending thirty, fifty, or ten or two hundred dollars, so what will he eat?

So don't expect others to tell you the real way to make money. As the saying goes, teaching a disciple will starve the master, that's the truth, unless you have interest constraints like signing a contract with an internet celebrity.

I would like to emphasize that whether it is short videos or pictures and texts, Douyin can still make money in the sales track of good products. In three or five years, there will still be people who will create accounts to do it.

It’s hard to say who can make money, but the key thing to remember is that Douyin is a content platform, so even when selling goods, content comes first.
