What questions do you have about joining Shopee? FAQ

The first step to becoming a Shopee seller is to settle in, but many sellers are still worried about not understanding the settlement process. Today, we have specially brought you an analysis of settlement-related issues to help you quickly join the ranks of Shopee sellers!

1. Can a company with a business license open a Brazilian market?

Yes. If you hold a business license and have experience in cross-border e-commerce, you can choose to open your first stop in one of the markets: Malaysia, the Philippines, or Brazil.

2. I have already successfully registered with a business license. Can I open another store with a self-employed business license?

No, you cannot open a store twice. If the seller's performance on the first site meets the requirements, the operation manager will quickly open a second store for the seller during the incubation period. The second store can be in the same market or a new market.

3. Is it necessary to fill in the company legal person in the contact information?

The contact information does not necessarily need to be the company's legal person, and the information of the main operating personnel can be filled in.

4. I have already filled in the settlement form. How can I retrieve the settlement link?

After you fill out the settlement form and successfully submit it, in addition to the settlement link on the current page, you will also receive SMS and email reminders containing the same settlement link. You can retrieve the settlement link by checking the SMS and email.

5. When filling in store information, what is the difference between brand and non-brand sellers?

When filling in the store information, sellers need to choose according to their actual situation. If you select "Yes" in "Is it a brand", the seller needs to submit the "brand logo" and "brand qualification certificate" and can open a store after the staff reviews it. The following are the entry requirements for brand sellers:

Valid brand registered trademark or brand agency authorization (must have the right to sell in Southeast Asia);

Company qualifications for entry;

Have experience in operating this brand and have operating stores on other e-commerce platforms.

6. What are the requirements for uploaded transaction screenshots?

The uploaded transaction screenshots must meet the following requirements:

The store name must be clearly displayed on the store transaction screenshot;

The store name must be consistent with the store name in the main store link provided;

Screenshots of transaction records for the last three consecutive months are required, and the order volume for two of those months must be greater than 0.
