Some of my seller friends are opening a store on the Shopee platform for the first time, so they are unfamiliar with everything and have no experience. They would like to ask everyone if there will be traffic if they keep uploading products to Shopee?

The biggest disadvantage of drop shipping or bulk uploading selected products on Taobao is that the direction of everyone's product selection is highly homogeneous. So when you upload it with one click without putting in any thought, the title is not attractive, the categories are not well divided, the pictures are too simple and repetitive, and there are too many similar competing products of your product on the platform, whether from the buyer's search or the platform's own recommendation, you will not be given too much weight, and there will be no new product support traffic.

The concept of new products is that the platform does not have products that are exactly the same as yours, or there are fewer identical products. In this case, you can get support for the display of new products and obtain more traffic.

How to get traffic?

In order to gain platform traffic and high exposure, the most fundamental thing is to have products that have both sales and reputation. Products can gain traffic and exposure through mutual likes, but if consumers want to click in to buy but find that sales are low and there are few reviews, then their willingness to buy will definitely not be strong, and the conversion purchase rate will naturally be much lower. Therefore, when sellers exchange likes with other merchants, they need to choose products with high sales and many reviews.

The platform's traffic is divided into paid and free traffic. The free traffic includes new product traffic, mutual likes among sellers, new promotions, traffic from consumers searching for key words, etc. The paid traffic requires sellers to advertise themselves and pay for promotion on various social platforms.

For sellers who do not have sufficient funds in the early stage, they can obtain more traffic support from the platform by preparing new products and launching them in time. In the later stage, if the profits are considerable, they can obtain traffic and consumer awareness by doing more promotional activities or long-term promotion in the media.

Of course, paid traffic is more effective and the target audience is more accurate, so the chance of conversion to purchase rate will be much greater.

Try to fill out the information completely when adding new products or continue to fill it out as soon as possible afterwards, because customers often use long-tail words to search, and only when your title or product parameters have these attributes can they be matched, so that you have more opportunities to be displayed and have your own differentiation.
