Latest! "Send Gifts" opens a super new entrance

The "Send Gifts" function in the WeChat ecosystem has recently undergone a major update, bringing a new interactive experience to users and merchants. This article will detail the latest adjustments to this function, including its new entry location in Apple's new version of WeChat, and the potential impact of this change on WeChat Stores.

If you update the new version of WeChat for Apple at this moment, you will find that "Send Gift" has appeared in a new entrance:

When you want to send pictures, make video or audio calls, send red envelopes, etc. to your friends during a chat, you need to click the "+" sign on the right side of the friend chat input box. Now, "Send Gift" also appears in this area.

Compared with previous versions, there was originally "Collect" in this area, but now "Collect" has been squeezed to the next page. Resources have given way to "Send Gifts".

This is the latest adjustment for “Send Gifts” as of now.

In the past, "Send Gifts" has not only completed gray testing and fully launched (January 6), but also continuously opened up many resource positions in the WeChat ecosystem. This adjustment is currently only available in the new Apple version and is not yet available in the Android version.

The newly added entrances are undoubtedly allowing WeChat Stores to enter the user relationship chain, social and chat scenarios in a silent manner, which is in line with the positioning of "atomized" components.
