So, I uploaded this AI-generated bad online article to several AI chats, asking them to help analyze the characteristics of AI-flavored writing, which can be regarded as a waste of recycling. In general, the reason why these stories have such a strong AI flavor is mainly due to the following reasons:

The language is more formal and written, while online writing is usually very colloquial.

There are too many narrative descriptions, and there are insufficient dialogues, actions, descriptions, etc. to show the dynamics of the story, which makes the story lack a sense of picture and difficult to empathize with.

The inappropriate lyricism makes the presentation less compact.

The inner feelings of the characters are always summed up directly rather than portrayed through description, action, etc.

At the end, there is always a look into the future, forcing beautiful hope on the characters.

There are too many modifications to the verbs, always "looked at ××" and "said ××", which are cumbersome and empty.

The words are randomly piled up, and some of the word and sentence combinations seem to be fine, but they do not conform to our daily expressions and look weird.

The character creation is flat and shallow, lacking in the display of the character's personality, which seriously affects the reader's identification with the character.

The logic of the character settings is inconsistent. The character may be playful and cute at the beginning, but suddenly become calm and reserved later on, which is inexplicable.

The relationship between characters may also change. At first, the two people seemed not very familiar with each other, but after just a few words, they immediately became good friends who knew each other's secrets and past.

As you can see from the final result, the current AI capabilities are still very rudimentary and not very friendly to online writing. The text written directly by AI has a strong AI flavor.

To be honest, I am quite disappointed with AI writing software after testing it. The optimization of this kind of product seems to stay at the interaction level, and the construction and customization of related business scenarios are far from enough. The actual effect is not as good as AI chat, which is too perfunctory.

Through this test, I think that if authors want to use AI to assist in writing, they still have to continue to break the whole into parts.

When AI is asked to control the story rhythm and expand the details from the overall plot, AI's performance is not good. The story is flat and dull, either not expanded at all, or randomly stuffed with meaningless extras and inner monologues. Therefore, we have to control the rhythm ourselves, and separate the segments that need AI to expand. For example, in the story above, let AI design "the process of the man in black accidentally discovering that I have superpowers" and so on. Don't throw the entire plot to AI. The more you do, the more mistakes you make, and AI can't keep up.

In addition, some small scenes can also be handed over to AI to complete, such as the description of the appearance of the man in black in the above example, the scene where "I" use electromagnetic control superpowers to fight the man in black, and the experience of "I" being stripped of superpowers. Based on these scenes, more detailed requirements are put forward to AI, and then handed over to AI to play.
