Amazon India recently announced the launch of a new tool called Sale Event Planner, which is dedicated to helping sellers prepare for upcoming and ongoing events on Amazon.in. The Promotions Planner tool, now available on the Amazon Seller App, will help sellers learn about events in advance, ensuring they have enough time to prepare. Sellers can use this tool to choose great deals to include in promotions and get recommendations on the best inventory to stock. The tool is available to sellers who have at least one deal recommended and use the Seller App. Amazon launched the event planning tool mainly to enable sellers to maximize opportunities to participate in platform promotions and help them grow their business. Considering the high usage rate of Indian sellers on mobile applications, the tool was first built on mobile devices for sellers to use. Amit Nanda, Director, Selling Partner Services, Amazon India said: “Amazon’s approach has always been to use technology as an enabler for sellers across India to scale their businesses through e-commerce to serve customers anywhere in India. With this launch, we aim to help thousands of local businesses capture more value from these sales and become digital entrepreneurs.” It should be noted that Amazon India's Prime Day this year will be held from 12:00 am on July 15 to 11:59 pm on July 16. The discounts for this event include categories such as TVs, laptops, smartphones, fashion and beauty, groceries, daily necessities, etc. During the event, the Amazon platform will have more than 45,000 new products from more than 400 top Indian and global brands and more than 2,000 new products launched by small and medium-sized enterprises. It is worth mentioning that before Prime Day, Amazon India also launched a new feature “Customise Your Product”, allowing customers to customize products before purchasing. The new feature, which is now available for more than 10,000 products across 76 different categories, offers an “intuitive” customization experience, providing customers with visual design tools to personalize products, along with a product preview option to see the final customized product in real time. Customers can personalise a range of products including blinds, blankets, home decor, wall art, furniture, lettering pens, necklaces, kettles, mugs, clothing and more to suit their creative requirements. |
