How long does it take for Shopee to cancel an order after delayed delivery?

When we buy things on Shopee, the most important thing we care about is the delivery. If the place of delivery is close to where you live, it will arrive in two or three days. But some merchants are slow to deliver, so how long will Shopee delay delivery before canceling the order?

For sellers on the Shopee platform, if the order is not shipped within a certain period of time or the order does not arrive at the warehouse within a certain period of time after shipment, the order will be automatically cancelled. Please see the following content for details.

1. The order was not shipped within a certain period of time

System connection channel: After X days, you did not click "Ship" and obtain the waybill number

Not connected to the system channel: After X days, did not click "Ship" and upload the waybill number

2. The order does not arrive at the warehouse within a certain period of time after shipment

Applicable channels: SLS channel orders only

Cancellation criteria:

Starting from November 20, orders that have not arrived at the warehouse after DTS + 7 days after payment is completed

Specific instructions:

(1) Screen and count the orders that meet the late delivery cancellation criteria every day (if the order is delayed due to slow warehouse scanning, it will not be included in the cancellation list)

(2) The status of canceled orders will be changed in batches in the system. Even if the canceled orders arrive at the warehouse, they cannot be scanned and put into storage.

(3) Orders that have been cancelled but delivered to the warehouse will be returned to the seller.

Return time: Once every 2 weeks, all packages from the same seller will be returned together

Return fee: To be paid, subject to actual amount

At that time, the corresponding Shopee account manager will provide a return list in advance for the seller’s reference.

(4) These canceled orders will affect the late shipment rate or uncompleted order rate, but only one of these will be calculated for each order.

Calculation logic:

After the order is paid, if the order is not shipped for more than DTS + 3 days, it will be counted as the late delivery order rate after being scanned at the warehouse; after the order is paid, if the order has not arrived at the warehouse for more than DTS + 7 days, it will be counted as the uncompleted order rate after being cancelled.

The above is a detailed description of how long Shopee will cancel an order if the delivery is delayed. If the delay rate is high, points will be deducted. The delay rate cannot exceed 25% to be considered qualified.
