Amazon officially launches Belgian site

Amazon’s global store opening information has been disclosed. Amazon’s Belgian site is officially launched. Sellers around the world can now start selling on Amazon.com.be.

So far, Amazon has 16 sites in Europe, including 9 major sites (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Poland, Belgium) and 7 major export countries (Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Denmark, Portugal, Czech Republic, Greece).

It is worth mentioning that among the world's top 10 developed economies, Europe, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom, accounts for 60% in total. It is predicted that by 2025, the overall revenue of European e-commerce will exceed the 563.4 billion revenue forecast for US e-commerce in 2025, reaching 569.2 billion US dollars.

According to reports, new sellers can open a site in Belgium with a European joint account, without the need for additional site monthly service fees. At the same time, if the company is established in China and has no overseas inventory in Belgium, it is not necessary to register for a VAT number. It should be noted that there is currently no FBA warehouse in Belgium, and you can directly enter the warehouse in Germany and France. Ship from Germany/France to Belgium, share inventory, and enjoy local delivery fees.

It is worth noting that Amazon has launched a new seller entry package that includes multiple benefits, including a maximum rebate of $50,000 in sales, a $200 Vine discount, a $100 Transparency program discount, etc. At the same time, Amazon has fully upgraded its logistics new product warehouse preferential plan to help new sellers test new products at a lower cost and save on store opening costs. Qualified FBA new ASINs will also receive benefits such as exemption from storage fees, exemption from inventory removal fees, and 5% sales rebate.

In addition, starting from March 31, 2022, Amazon will offer a one-year 20% delivery fee discount for its European delivery network between the EU (Germany/France/Italy/Spain) and the UK.

For FBA sellers, whether PanEU or EFN mode, orders shipped from German FBA warehouses to the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, and from French FBA warehouses to Belgium, FBA delivery fees are considered local delivery fees. In addition, for sellers who join the CEE Central European Program, each Amazon Logistics (FBA) product shipped from Germany can save up to €0.26 in delivery fees.

For novice sellers, Amazon provides the Official Listing (product details page) Upload Service (GSO), and the official team will provide you with a free one-stop service of "translation-creation-upload" for listings. In addition, the two tools of One-click Listing to the World and Building International Product Information (BIL) help new sellers operating multiple sites reduce the complexity of managing global business and improve operational flexibility.

At the same time, Amazon Europe provides sellers with a variety of logistics solutions such as Amazon Logistics (FBA), European Fulfillment Network (EFN), Amazon Logistics Europe Integrated Service (Pan-EU) and China-Europe Program to meet different business needs in order to address the pain points of distribution logistics and warehousing in multi-country operations.

In addition, Amazon VAT Integration Service is Amazon's official VAT compliance solution that allows you to use Amazon's partnered third-party tax service providers to help you register and file European VAT in up to 7 countries where Amazon has warehouses (the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic).
