How much does the shopeeSIP platform charge? What are the standards?

For some friends, when operating a Shopee store, they will use some functions and services of the platform, such as overseas warehouse services, shopeeSIP, etc. Different services have different charging standards. Let's find out how much the shopeeSIP platform charges!

Since SIP orders do not charge sellers for shipping, the platform will deduct the hidden price based on the product weight filled in by the seller, so the weight of the product must be written accurately. Many sellers lose money on SIP orders because the weight is written too high, resulting in the platform deducting more hidden price.

Seller's income = settlement price * quantity - transaction fee - commission

Settlement unit price = (Taiwan sales price - Taiwan station hidden price) * price adjustment ratio

Please note that the price adjustment ratio for newly opened SIP is 90%. Sellers should adjust it according to their own situation. The maximum is 100%. If SIP does not place orders, the platform will automatically reduce the ratio to 80%.

For example: a product is priced at 115. Hidden price 15. Handling fee 2%, commission 6%, price adjustment ratio 80%, purchase quantity 2 pieces

Settlement unit price = (115-15)*80% = 80

Seller income = 80*2-(2%=+6%)*80*2=147.2

How is the SIP price calculated?

1. SIP seller income

Seller’s actual income = settlement price * quantity of goods - transaction fee - commission

2. Price adjustment ratio

The price adjustment ratio is also called itemdiscount or SIPrate. It refers to the price adjustment ratio made by the seller to the non-Taiwan site price relative to the Taiwan site price of the product. The default price adjustment ratio is 80% and can be set to a maximum of 90%.

3. Settlement unit price

Currently, there are two modes for calculating the SIP settlement unit price. Sellers can choose according to their own circumstances (the system defaults to the first calculation mode, and sellers can adjust it to the second through settings):

(1) Settlement unit price = (Taiwan site selling price - Taiwan site storage price) * price adjustment ratio

For example: The price of product A in Taiwan is 115 TWD, the hidden price is 15 TWD, and the price adjustment ratio set by the seller for shipment to Malaysia is 80%, then the settlement unit price = (115-15)*80%=80 TWD

Note: The storage price directly affects the final settlement unit price, and the weight directly affects the storage price;

(2) Settlement unit price = cost price * price adjustment ratio

The cost price needs to be set using the cost price function

4. Hidden price

The hidden price is also called logistics cost, which refers to the cost of the seller using the SLS service included in the product price. It is calculated by Shopee based on the weight of the product entered by the seller.

Hidden price = actual shipping cost - shipping cost paid by the buyer (i.e. shipping cost actually paid by the seller)

For example, if a general product on the Taiwan site weighs 800g and is delivered to the buyer (the buyer pays 70TWD), then the hidden price = 85+30-70=45TWD
