How much is the salary of a foreign trade salesperson? What certificates are required?

Foreign trade salesmen are divided into two types: senior salesmen and junior salesmen. Senior salesmen generally need more than 5 years of work experience, while junior salesmen also need about 3 years of work experience. So how much is the salary of foreign trade salesmen?

6000-10000

1. What certificates do foreign trade salesmen need to take?

Foreign trade salesmen are generally required to have a college degree or above, with a major in trade, language, or finance. Relevant qualifications such as the foreign salesman qualification certificate, customs broker qualification certificate, and international trade document clerk certificate are even more important.

2. Are foreign trade salesmen under great pressure?

Working in foreign trade really requires you to endure tremendous work pressure.

For example, I used to have a colleague who was in foreign trade. His clients were in South America. The time difference there was very different from ours. When it was daytime in China, it was nighttime there for the clients.

Therefore, after getting off work during the day, the salesperson cannot fall asleep early at night. He has to communicate with the customer about the order before he can put down his phone.

In addition to enduring the torture of jet lag, foreign trade salesmen also need to travel frequently or even abroad.

From my observations in this industry in the past, before the outbreak, it was not uncommon for salesmen to travel abroad three to five times a year, and some people even needed to travel abroad once a month.

As for domestic business trips, they are commonplace.

If you can't bear such great work pressure, it will be difficult to persist in this industry.

When it comes to working in foreign trade, the biggest benefit, besides making money, is freedom.

Because most trading companies do not evaluate the attendance of salesmen, but focus more on the results of their performance.

If the performance is good, the salesperson will not be blamed by the leader even if he does not spend much time in the company during the day. After all, due to factors such as time difference, the salesperson can also work at home.

What's even more exaggerated is that a colleague of mine once applied to work from home and it was approved.

The reason is simple: his business ranks first in the company.

If you can bear the undesirable aspects of foreign trade sales, you will have the opportunity to enjoy its happy parts.

Generally speaking, the salary of foreign trade sales staff is generally around 6,000 to 10,000. If you are a junior salesperson, the basic salary starts at 6,000. If you are a senior salesperson, the basic salary starts at 10,000.
