How is the FBA fee calculated on Amazon Europe? What is the storage fee?

In fact, the cost of doing cross-border e-commerce is relatively high, because the logistics of cross-border e-commerce, including inventory storage fees, need to be paid every month, and there are also FBA fees. How to calculate the FBA fees of Amazon Europe?

1. How to calculate the FBA fee of Amazon Europe?

FBA fees are calculated based on the size, dimensions, weight, etc. of the goods, usually calculated based on CBM (cubic meter). FBA fees can be charged based on full container or LCL, which is determined based on your actual cargo volume.

2. FBA Inventory Storage Fees

1. Monthly inventory storage fee

Monthly storage fee = the number of goods that should be charged for 6 months of long-term storage fees x unit volume of goods x storage fee per cubic meter in the corresponding month

Amazon generally charges the previous month's storage fee between the 7th and 15th of the next month. The storage fees vary according to the product size segment and month. Starting from April 1, 2018, the monthly inventory storage fee for standard-size and oversized products will increase by $0.05 per cubic foot.

2. Long-term inventory storage fees

Long-term storage fee = the number of goods for which long-term storage fee should be charged in the time period x the unit volume of the goods x the long-term storage fee per cubic meter in the corresponding time period

The latest Amazon FBA policy: Starting from February 15, 2019, Amazon will reduce long-term storage fees. If you have inventory placed in Amazon's operation center, you can enjoy the preferential benefits of reduced long-term storage fees, or even exemption; for products that are in operation or that you are willing to store for half a year to a year, you only need to pay the previous long-term storage fee on January 15, 2019. After that, if your inventory age is less than 1 year, you can be exempted from long-term storage fees.

The calculation of Amazon Europe FBA fees is based on the size, dimensions, weight, etc. of the goods. At the same time, the charges can be divided into full container or LCL, and the billing method is determined according to the actual goods.
