How much is the Amazon FBA warehousing fee? Introduction to Amazon FBA fees

Amazon does not charge sellers any fees for registering a store, but sellers still have to pay fees to the Amazon platform to operate the store. The FBA warehousing fee is one of the fees. So how much is the Amazon FBA warehousing fee?

How much is the Amazon FBA warehousing fee?

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) fees are a fixed fee charged for each item and depend on the size and weight of the item. First, determine the size segment (standard or large) of your product. Once you understand the size segment of your item, determine which fees need to be charged. Then calculate the shipping weight.

1. Product size is divided into standard size products and large size products. Standard size products refer to goods that weigh no more than 12 kilograms after complete packaging and whose dimensions do not exceed the following standards:

The longest side is 45 cm;

The second longest side 34 cm;

The shortest side is 26 cm;

Any shipment that exceeds the above dimensions is considered oversized. Any shipment that does not exceed the above dimensions but weighs more than 12 kg will also be considered oversized.

2. Calculate the shipping weight. You need to calculate the shipping weight of each item by adding the packaging weight to the item weight. The total weight of each item will be rounded up to the nearest 500 grams. The shipping weight is then used to calculate the delivery fee based on the rates listed above.

Note: The unit weight, dimensions, and other measurements used to calculate costs are determined by Amazon and may vary for different packages, and dimensions may also vary for different packaging types.

Amazon FBA will charge the higher of the two fees, which means if your volumetric weight shipping fee is higher, the volumetric weight shipping fee will be charged.

Amazon FBA generally charges based on the first weight + additional weight of the product in units of 0.5kg. The first 0.5kg is the first weight, and the rest is the additional weight. The first weight costs about 100-130 yuan, and the additional weight costs about 30 yuan. If the product is over 21KG, it is calculated based on each 1KG, not counting the first weight.

If the products of Amazon merchants are large products, it is recommended that merchants choose sea transportation, which will be slightly cheaper. However, if you pay more attention to timeliness, it is better to choose air transportation, but the transportation cost will be very high.
